| This is a Painting of the Chicago Overhead train. It is an oil painting on canvas 30 inches by 24 inches, it was completed in November 2005 . It was seen after my recent visit to Milwaukee in September 2005 and an Amtrak ride to Chicago. I was very impressed by the buildings in Chicago and the background of an older building with its external fire escape and the new one seemed to make a perfect backdrop to the ironwork of the El. I expect more painting to come out of my visit to both Chicago and Milwaukee. |
